Who we are.

Philippe has over 18 years of experience in public equities across long-biased, global equity and multi-strategy mandates. Before Atta Partners, he co-founded Mar Asset, where he led equities within Mar Absoluto. He was previously a partner at Var Capital and a portfolio manager at Opportunity Asset Management, where he launched and managed Opportunity Equity Hedge and Opportunity Global Equities.

Education: Electrical Engineering, PUC-Rio.

Business background: Co-founded Haight Clothing in 2014 and sold it to Shoulder in 2024 — the third-largest female apparel brand in Brazil. Currently a board member of Shoulder.

Leonardo has over 17 years of experience in quantitative investing, risk management and financial technology. He spent a decade at NCH Capital, where he developed and traded machine-learning-based quantitative models, and served as portfolio manager of the systematic funds. Earlier, he worked in risk-management roles at SIP Capital and RiskControl/Accenture.

Education: Master in Finance, London Business School; Industrial Engineering, UFRJ.

João Pedro has experience in equity research, financial operations and investment analysis. Before Atta Partners, he was an equity analyst at Gávea Investimentos, focused mainly on infrastructure and power. He previously worked at BTG Pactual in operations and at Stone Co. in financial operations.

Education: Mechanical Engineering, PUC-Rio.

Rafael is four-time silver medalist of the Brazilian National Math Olympiad and full scholarship recipient under FGV’s Talent Selection Program at FGV-Rio.

Education: Student of Economics, FGV-Rio.
